At the heart of their past, present and future is the Eastern White Pine tree.

100 years is the average length of time to grow an Eastern White Pine tree to maturity. In Hancock Lumber’s 165-year history, only two harvest cycles have been completed.

Hancock sawmills are zero waste facilities, utilizing every part of each log harvested. From boards for building, to chips for playgrounds and sawdust as alternative fuel that helps power its mills.

Over $110 million dollars are contributed annually to the local economy through Hancock’s sawmills and retail locations, with an abundant natural resource that provides hundreds of jobs and positively impacts our state’s economy. Manufacturing stays in this country.
